Thank you so much to Madame Samm of Sew We Quilt and Carol of Just Let Me Quilt for hosting this wonderful hop and to Regina Grewe for allowing us to use her fantastic pattern. You can purchase Regina's pattern for yourself here.
I had fun creating my Bowls with Borders. The pattern was so easy to follow and became addicting. I think there will be many more bowls in my future!!
My family loves breakfast cereal. We mostly eat breakfast cereal for breakfast, but we like it for lunch or dinner, sometimes, too. I decided to get a jump on Christmas presents and make a placemat for each of my children. The stacked bowls remind me of cereal bowls so I thought they would make perfect gifts for my kids. I used some coordinating solids with Central Park for the bowl trim, borders, back and binding.
Everyone that leaves a comment on my blog today, will be entered in a drawing for a little surprise from me.
